Service
StayDetective provides informational reports summarising publicly verifiable signals about accommodation listings (photos, reviews, registries, addresses, prices, community mentions) at the time of the check. Reports contain a risk score and sourced findings. They are not legal advice, not an accusation, and not a guarantee that a listing is or is not fraudulent.
Orders and delivery
Paid reports are one-off digital services delivered electronically, usually within hours of payment. By ordering you request immediate performance; once a report is delivered, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right for digital content no longer applies. If we cannot complete a paid check, we refund it.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown before purchase and processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.
Fair use
Automated scraping of our reports or reselling them without permission is not allowed.
Liability
Reports reflect third-party data available at the time of the check; sources can change or disappear. Booking decisions remain yours. Our liability is limited to the price paid for the report.
